About the Provost
Mrs. Oyibocha is a Registered Nurse (RN); Registered Midwife (RM); Registered Nurse Educator (RNE) and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). As a Clinical Nurse Mrs. Oyibocha worked with the Delta State Hospital Management Board for over a decade. She lectured in School of Nursing, Warri, Department of Nursing Science, Delta State University, Abraka and presently, St. Francis Catholic College of Nursing Sciences, Okpara Inland, Delta State.
Mrs. Oyibocha hail from Kiagbodo in Burutu L.G.A. of Delta State. She had her FSLC at Eserophe Primary School, Ughelli. She attended St. Theresa’s Grammar School, Ughelli. School of Nursing, Warri (now College of Nursing Sciences); School of Midwifery, Edo State (now College of Nursing Sciences); Delta State University, Abraka where She had her first degree (B.N.Sc.); Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-IFE, Odin State where she had her Masters degree in Nursing. University of PortHarcourt, Rivers State where she obtained a Diploma in Education and also currently running a PhD programme in Public Health Nursing.
Mrs. Oyibocha worked with the Delta State Hospital Management Board for over a decade as a Nurse Clinician; School of Nursing, Warri, Department of Nursing Science, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka as a lecturer and researcher. She also developed a Medical Surgical Module for Open Distant and e-Learning in Delta State University, Abraka. Currently, She work with St. Francis Catholic College of Nursing Sciences, Okpara Inland, Delta State. She is a Fellow of West Africa Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (FWAPCNM); a Member, Sigma Theta Tau International (MSTTI) Chi Omicron; Associate Member, Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (AMCISR) and a Fellow State School of Nursing Warri Alumni Association (FSSONWAA).
Leadership and Responsibilities
Mrs. Oyibocha have served in several capacities while in School of Nursing, Warri and DELSU, Abraka as HOD Research, Community Nursing, Examination Office, Member Plagiarism, Covid-19 Implementation, Research and Ethics Committees among others. Facilitator, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Presently, Provost SFCCNS, Okpara Inland
